This happen to my family when i was about sec 1. My family is having a day at my house and was plannig to have some prayers but failed cos they are too tired. My sister who is working late at starbucks came home at 3am and my step dad is lying at the couch at the living room watching Tv and was halfway sleeping. As usual my my sis came home and said the malay greeting.
As soon as my sis reach home, my dad went to sleep. About 3.45am and my sis has settle down and playing the game ‘Diablo’ when my step dad suddenly stared shouting. He ran around the whole house like a stupid monkey and crying. He then go near the door and took the house keys and threw it at the floor and started running again. My mom(the hero)went up slapping him forcing him to speak out some prayers but he is still acting like a monkey and worst he shouted “Baby!Baby!”. My mom then took out a “sapu lidi” and wave over the mid air and shout out some useful prayers. When she reach to the kitchen, she feel some presence around her and was outside but very close.
An hour later my step dad regain his stupid humanity and tell the whole story. Actually a pontianak spirit followed my sister on her way home and when she reach home, it can’t enter my house because my sis said some prayers before she enter the house but the spirit caught sight of my father and got attracted to him. So she came up to him with a baby saying to him that the baby belong to him and want him to commit suicide by jumping off the corridor cos my house is 14 storey high.
The next day when I talk to my mom about what had happen, she said that she recieved this strong courage to shout out the prayers that was spoken.
And my sister……..she said that she won’t play ‘Diablo” at night again. As for me, I wish that I could punch my step dad’s face while he is behaving like an idiot for waking me up late in the morning.
