I am death now so nothing I say will matter anymore. I was an HR staff for many companies when I was alive. The small companies made it clear to me that they will interview people from all races/religions but do not wish to hire people from muslim religion due to the 3 reasons belows. Most of the company bosses are old and told me it is due to their many experiences working with them.
1. Friday prayers – Company working hours will be used for it and many of them will not work late to give back the working hours. It will be cost for the company and we cannot scold them for it if not it may lead to religious tensions.
2.Separate Fridge/Microwave/Prayer room – Initally when they start working, they will not request anything but once many of their own people join or they are in the senior position, then it will start. They will request a separate fridge/microwave and praying corner for them thus to prevent such issues, small companies do not want to hire them.

3. Many Kids – Muslim tend to have a large family and they tend to take all the leaves type available. They tend to max out the medical leaves and childcare leave as they have many kids to take care of. Some of them will even take unpaid leave to take care of the family. Nothing wrong in that but the company suffers in the end as they lack manpower to get the work done. It will cheaper and better to hire foreign manpower as their sole purpose is to work hard and get money.
