There was one haunted cinema building many years ago. It was situated at Jalan Tengkera, Malacca.
The haunting started as soon as the building was completed and started its operations. And the whole town knew about it.
There cinema has two levels – the lower level and the upper level. On the upper level, there were two seats draped with red cloth. These are the haunted seats.
Many people who sat on these seats experienced scratches on their bodies. Some come out of the cinema bloodied. There were scratches on the faces , necks and the bodies. It was a horrifying sight.
There were occasions when people met a long-hair female ghost in the Men’s room and toilet lights turning on and off by themselves.
Seeing the the stories of the cinema haunting had spread all over the town, a medium was called to pacify the ghosts. He performed his rituals and offered some animal blood and draped red cloth on the two haunted seats.Those seats were never to be seated again.
However, with the advent of VCD and DVD, the cinema went under and has been demolished to make way for a new building.
