I come from Manila in Philippines and I’m going to tell you an incident when we visit a haunted house many years ago. I was about 13 when this took place. I went to the haunted house with some people from school and we were setting up a house that was rumored to really be haunted. After we were finished setting up we hung out talking. Then, suddenly, we heard a scream from an upstairs bedroom.
One of the older high school girls came running down the stairs screaming and crying as she went out the front door. Her boyfriend went out after her. He calmed her down in their car and returned. He told us that there was a painting of a odd-looking clown that began to leak a dark liquid from the eyes. I just laughed to myself and my friend. I thought it was a nice Halloween prank.
I then asked to borrow a phone to call home. I dialed my house but didn’t get an answer which was strange because someone is always home late at night. My friend and I decided to walk back to my house which was only a few blocks away. We cut across the grounds of a school across the street and both noticed a dark figure in the field.
It seemed to follow us and keep up with our pace. We watched it as we walked for about 5 minutes. Just then a car drove past us toward the direction of the figure, now almost in the middle of the street. The car flicked the high beams at it and sped up at it. Then it just vanished. We both looked at each other and ran to my house in shock. When we got back everyone was still awake in the family room talking and I asked why didnt anyone answer the phone when I called? They said the phone never rang. Well that was the final event of a very strange evening.
