I was enlisted for national service at Police Academy (TRACOM) in June 15 1999. I was in squad 23/99 (PREP COURSE) and staying at Alpha Company barrack third storey. My bed was just beside the entrance door. I was sleeping on the top bed whereas my buddy Felix Lim was sleeping at the bottom.
The strange incident happens 2 weeks when i was in the camp. On that particular night, everyone was fast asleep after a vigorous physical training during the day. I was woken up by a sudden tug at my blanket. At that time, i was too tired but at the same time scared when the tugging became more intense. Tugging on the left and right hand side. At first i thought that somebody’s is playing a prank on me but who the hell wants to tug a blanket in the middle of the night. I uttered some prayers which i can think of and slowly the tugging went away.
The next morning i tell my buddy about the incident. He was surprised and told me it was not his doing. He was totally asleep on that night. It could’nt be my other squadmates as i do not know them quite well. Maybe somebody could explained this thing to me but in the other hand nobody knows it till now… Anyway i wish best of luck to the future trainees especially the one who is staying at Alpha Company third storey.. the bed beside the entrance door……….
