I am still wondering till now who is at my kitchen in the middle of the night the other day. It wasn’t my imagination but its a real fact. I encounter this last March 2001. At that time, I was 6 months pregnant for a second child. I was feeling so uneasy that night to sleep as my hubby is not back from work yet. The clock shows 1.30am. I was feeling slightly hungry but still not wanting to search for food in the kitchen, I thought that I could have a nice supper with my hubby once his back from work.
It was a humid night, and I was feeling so uneasy. I looked out my window, tried to watch tv and back to my room again. I suddenly heard someone at the kitchen. My room is just about 6 footsteps to the kitchen. And I thought it was my hubby, I came down from the bed and wanted to open the door of my room when suddenly, I heard as if there is someone in the kitchen searching for food from my pots and pans on the stove and looking for something in the kitchen cabinets and the drawers too.
In the drawers is where I keep my cutleries. And the drawer is being slammed for several times. I decide not to go out from my room and locked my room door instead! About few minutes later, I heard my hubby calling out for me. I am still afraid to open my room door….he called me again, “Sue, Papa is back. Are u sleeping?” And that is the frequent question asked by my hubby once his back. Then, I open the door, and there stood my hubby in front of my room.
I told him what happen and I even asked him to accompany me to the kitchen to see if my things are being messed up or its just my imagination. And for GOODNESS SAKE, I cant believe my eyes, my cutleries which I placed in my kitchen drawer were all over the place in the kitchen…its like I have just like I have moved everything in my kitchen. I was shocked and still terrified over what happen till now. So me and my hubby is still wondering who did that? And why? Is it “Jerangkong”?? What do you think??
