It was one of those days when our family and some of our relatives decided to drive to our grandmother’s older sister’s house in Malaysia ..Since she was the oldest among the whole, i guess she was respected greatly.
So we booked the chalet just a couple kilometres away from her bungalow. We had dinner at her house and after that, we had what they called ‘family talk’. My cousins and i found it so boring so we too talked among ourselves. Suddenly there was a knock on the main door, my uncle went to peep on the peep hole. He seemed amused with what he saw. He told us that there was a dark figure, obviously a woman with her hair piled up in a towel. We started chattering except for our grandmother’s sister. Her eyes widened and she told us to stop talking at ones. But it was too late, the front door started banging loudly and there were tapping on all the windows.
We were all terrified but kept our mouth shut. Not one of us uttered a word. A terrifying moan followed before the banging and tapping subsidised.
When we felt it was safe to speak, our grandmother’s sister told us that it had happened before. The ‘thing’ wanted company. That was why she told us to keep quiet. For some reason, the neighbour were unaffected. The reason could be that the bungalow was surrounded by aloads of trees and the nearest neighbour was a few kilometres away. No one knew what it was or where it came from. It was the ‘unwanted guest’.
